I don't really post about myself here. That's something that I maybe want to change, so I'm considering doing the snowflake_challenge. It looks like it could be fun! (ETA: forgot to mention. idk how this place works, idk if I should/want to keep the "hermit.log" entries locked. until now my access-giving has been random because I don't have anything access-locked.)

...There's this thing I do where I constantly censor myself—I decide that what I have to say isn't interesting and stay silent. My therapist tells me that's not a very good idea, so here is a hermit attempting to share:

This happened a while ago but I haven't told anyone about it yet. I signed up for inkingitout with 75k words because I thought "Well, why not?" This year I've written somewhere around 55k words (but posted less than half of them), so I figured 75k should be doable.

(I looked at naye's fic meme, which asked about WIPs and that made me wonder how many I actually had. I counted 15 fics, 4 artworks, 3 videos and 2 podfics. LORDY, HELP ME!! Yes, this is all weilan and doesn't include the "stray half-formed ideas.")

Today I woke up in a good mood (a very rare occurrence!) and had around of hour of feeling nice before I hopped on my PC and saw some shit. I won't yet mention the shit in question because it hasn't fully resolved yet (and, to the best of my knowledge, it might end up working out well) but I want to note that I feel slighted.

To top that, today I also found out that my flight back to London was cancelled. (The email is a few days old, I just hadn't checked my inbox.) I'm not sure what to do. It seems I need to call them (British Airways) if I want to somehow get it changed or get a refund?? Thanks, 2020, you've been great.

ugh, maybe i'll spend the rest of today playing civ 5...

I have lots of wips all the time, too. I find it more fun to have a choice what to continue. (That applies to everything I do, apparently. I never finish everything. But I do finish something once in a while. Good enough? :))
