camp nano thoughts + fic moodboard

Wow, it's been so long since I last posted.

I've been doing Camp NaNo and, so far, it's been a pretty cool experience overall. I started off well, I'd like to think. I was struck by a cool idea (weilan mafia AU) a couple days before July and managed to plan it out and do some research before Camp started. Then for a while writing was going well... and then I got sick. I'm fine now, it was probably a summer cold, but it was enough to bum me out and disrupt my flow.

That probably wasn't terrible, since it gave me an opportunity to step back and think. I realized some of the stuff I'd planned wasn't really great, so yesterday I revised my plan and things look better now.

I haven't written today yet, though. Boring life stuff decided to happen, so I guess I need to get on now. Hm. I'll try to do a sprint in a bit, maybe.

(Blacked out for depression) Low key afraid of jinxes, this poster is reluctant to say this but here goes. It's extremely strange, basically everything in the world now is terrible but, like literally never before, I feel... fine. Actually fine. I can't say I'm happy as such but... it's not all a tragedy like it used to be. It's almost like I have hope. (And I don't mean this just for right now, it's been like this for the past few months. ...I'm so, so afraid of relapsing.)

Anyway, back to fic talk. I made a mood board before I'd even decided I was actually going to write this fic. In hindsight, I should've known something was up then. :D Because I want to share it in a more public place than my (locked) twitter, here it is.
