cyberbrainI've wanted to make a post for months now but I kept putting it off. I suddenly have the drive to make one now, so let's go for it. Seize the moment before it escapes!
...The moment just attempted to escape. I'll make a list.
1. I got a job. I started last week (because the application process took a long time) but I'm mostly happy with it. The work is fun for me and is related to my chosen career path. Socializing with all the new people is harder.
2. I got a cat. His name is Barok and I've had him for just over two weeks now but he's delightful and I'm glad to have him (this is very noteworthy because I went through a terrifying post-adoption depression moment for a few days immediately after getting him). He's around a year and four months old, according to the vet's deductions. Here's a picture:
(yes, he's named after Barok van Zieks because I feel they look similar)
3. I played the entirety of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, with the exception of the several escapades I've still got left. The two games were wonderful and I've fallen hard for a lot of characters and even a few ships, which is a new experience for me. I'm happy it turned out this way, though...even if I feel great disdain for the most popular ship in the fandom 😩 (I'll just come out and say it, I'm not a fan of Kazuma and there are better matches for Ryuunosuke).
4. I started watching the 1984 Granada Sherlock Holmes series. I'm thrilled to see this version, it feels rather,,,gay 🤩
5. Sadly, writing has been stagnating still. I'm slowly trying to poke at some (Ace Attorney) wips but, yes, it's slow.
6. Oh right! I finally got my room repainted and now it's a color I actually like. That's cool.
Alright. The moment is stretching too long, I must now shift my attention to something else.
Ah! Merry belated Christmas and Happy belated New Year! 🎊🎉

Though I guess it was inevitable that along with any main character ships, I would also ship Sholmes and [censored for spoilers].

ETA: this list makes it obvious that you've been wildly busy and getting big things done, which is a pretty good reason to be struggling with a writing schedule, but let me know if I can do anything to assist or encourage, of course!
