what's going on with viki?

a lil while ago i had the bright idea of trying my hand at writing subtitles on viki (japanese to english since i'm trying to practice) but it seems something is different now, i'm guessing because of my region?

i noticed a couple of things:
one) there aren't many japanese shows at all and from what i saw there's precisely one that's currently looking for subs
two) only the viki standard pass exists as an option for me. surely they can't have removed the other options?

idk? i've recruited a few people into it lately (English-German), and I haven't noticed the perks change over the last year or so?

The perks page still says that a QC needs 3000 segments, and that's where all the perks are (no ads, HD, exclusive content). I honestly don't remember if it used to be different when I started in 2018.

i think it shows me the same as what you're saying for the perks, but i just meant the passes that you can buy as a user. like, without anything subbing-related.
