I must admit that I didn’t really listen to this one, so seeing your post made me think I would give it a try - no regrets !
I still have a weakness for Victims of love (live performance) (that was the first song that got me into buck tick).

Very glad you liked it! I like Victims of Love a lot too, there are (at least?) a couple of versions of it so it's always "fresh" for me.
My first B-T song was Romance (the PV), instant love.

Ngl the Climax Together version (which might be my favourite performance with the Sattelite circuit) and the 1993 are otherworldly. Talking about the Sattelite Circuit, さくら / Sakura brings so much pain nowadays. I remember when I watched it in 2021. Time flies. I just hope he rests well tbh.
But I’m getting negative here, I might talk about brighter things shall I? Haha

All wonderful lives indeed! *g* Sakura is such a beautiful song and, yeah, it's hard for me to listen to it now; same with Jupiter. Well, same with a lot of songs for me, actually. I love 13kai wa Gekkou in its entirety so much and now...now I skip its songs nearly every time they come on. I hope he rests well, too. Hope he's happy wherever he is.

But in brighter things to mention, I've discovered a great love for Hurry Up Mode and Taboo :D

It really sucks when no one around shares the passion :/

He might truly be one of the few artists who sang better live. Idk, he just brought these emotions and mystery not so many people could emanate. I get this, skipping songs because they are indeed painful. But it means we’re sensitive persons, so I guess it’s a good thing, right?
Yes, I really hope he reunited with his beloved mother.

Hurry up mode melody is so entertaining tho ! I recently listened a lot to Aku no Hana, which I skipped some years ago. Love the enthousiasm haha

I think so too. He sounded amazing on recordings but live he was somehow even better. Especially recent live (videos) I've watched, his voice was so beautiful and powerful. Ah, I really wish I'd managed to go see B-T live.
I suppose sensitivity is a good thing, yeah.

I absolutely understand whoever agreed to sign them for their debut with Hurry Up Mode, great melodies all around! Aku no Hana is so good too <3 (my fav song from there: The World is Yours)

I didn’t look at the recent lives, I should watch them actually. I only saw the 90’s ones because of the vibes it has (I liked their songs more back in those days, bc it was like more rock and less vkei, I guess?)
Yes, me too. I went to Korea this year, and since they were supposed to tour, I would’ve absolutely flight to Japan to see them. I guess I should’ve went last year..

Sensitivity can be a blessing in disguise, it’s a more positive way to handle it.

Aku no hana truly is a masterpiece ughh. What is your favourite album of theirs btw?

I hope you like the recent lives too! (I'm finding that it's hard for me to watch anything Izora-related but pre-2022 stuff is easier.) Sometimes they live stream old lives on their youtube channel, that's mainly how and why I watched some very recent ones.
Ohh, I see, I understand the preference. Me, I'm quite into rock too but then I really like that B-T have so much variety in their discography. In a way they help me discover more music. :D
Yeah, seems like last year was a good time to go, alas precisely last year I wasn't paying as much attention.

Oh my, that's the toughest question. :D I realized I really love the sound and emotions in Atom Miraiha No. 9 these days. Interesting conclusion for me, because when the album first came out, I liked it but I didn't want to listen to it much because it felt too depressing (and that was generally a stressful time in my life). I'm also a big fan of Six/Nine and Tayou ni Korosareta and Arui wa Anarchy...but I love all their album, really :D

How about you, what's your favorite B-T album?

You got me on this one, I’m definitely gonna watch more recent ones then. I didn’t know they did that, it’s great ! A way to revive old times for them I guess.
I understand, it’s great to discover a lot of their songs to understand better the discography, here might be my flaw : when I don’t feel the vibe with a song, I don’t really listen to the rest of the album. But I should, now you’re pushing me out of my comfort zone haha, so it’s great.

Oh, that album is indeed more than good ! Though I didn’t much listen to this one (as you might see, I’m the type of sticking to some songs or special albums and listen to them on repeat not paying much attention to the others, might be because I’ve watched the old lives too much though). I hope that, even though this stressful time, you could appreciate it greatly afterwards! And that it get better in your life, also.

Omg, the Six/Nine one… especially Misshitsu like.. please Atsushi I’m just begging for ONE chance lmao.

Taiyou ni korosareta might be the best one imo. Ah.. that’s complicated. I love seventh heaven and Aku no Hana too. I can’t choose between those three, too hard, too hard haha

I feel you on that! That's how I am with most artists, or I just randomly hear a song I like and then never check out what else the band/singer did :D I guess B-T's variety lets me always have a song for my mood.

Misshitsu is so beautiful! Kodou, too (I'm very fond of the Devil and Freud (2004) performance). And then his voice is so low and deep in Kagirinaku Nezumi and I love how calm Loop feels. Wish they'd done more reading-type songs.

I’ve just watched the performance you were talking about. It makes me miss him even more, since he pretty got the same look growing older, it feels like it was recent even if it was in 2004. Crazy how time flies (I wasn’t even fully conscient in 2004 but let’s skip this part lol).

I’m very glad to hear things get better for you. You deserve it.

Ok now I’m going to get into every single song of BT’s discography haha.
Talking about that, I just remembered Pleasure Land. It was my go-to song to sleep to find peace. Good moments of life.
(I’ve edit my comment since I’ve said Silent Night. It’s also calm but remembers me of Bowie)

Pleasure Land is so nice, I hadn't listened to it in a long time. Same with Silent Night, actually, so thank you for pointing them out! As I listened to them I thought it might be fun to try to sing them,,,and I will,,but I'm not good at singing :D

I asked about Bowie because I do like him but I haven't listened to him much, so I was going to ask for recommendations myself. :D I'm listening to Rock'n'Roll suicide now, I guess I'll continue with the rest of the album. I just know Bowie's Space Oddity (thanks to Sakurai's cover of it) and The Stars Are Out Tonight. I get overwhelmed when I look at Bowie's page on spotify because there are so many albums and so many of them are from after his death :/
