I've wanted to write something featuring the Time Engraver ever since I first saw him. Yesterday I finally did. °˖✧◝(*¯︶¯*)◜✧˖°
...Then today I lost all confidence in the piece but I still like these few sentences, so I'm sharing them.

For the first time ever, all the clocks around seem to tick too loudly, too often, too much. The Time Engraver spins around, looking at them, somehow seeing them afresh. He doesn't feel the comfort they used to bring him. The steady flow of time they depicted–now looking like a losing race. But who is racing and why?

The despair engulfing the Time Engraver's being suggests it might be him. That he'd had a job to do and failed.

Oh, this is wonderfully intriguing! If you need a beta or cheerleader, I'd love to help. The world needs more Time Engraver stories! <3
