Dear Yuletide Writer,
Oct. 17th, 2020 10:50 pmHello and thank you for writing for me! I hope something here can spark an idea (or more ^^) for you. If not, don't worry, I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever you write for me. Really, I don't want you to worry or stress about this gift. Something small or imperfect that you enjoyed creating would be a better gift than a perfectly written epic that caused you distress.
Here I've listed my fandoms, with a brief description, along with my likes and do-not-wants. I decided to divide my DNWs into general and fandom specific to avoid repetitions and possible confusion.
I've formatted my prompts as questions. Don't feel pressured to answer all of them or even any of them. They're just there to guide you.

General likes: My two main loves are world-building and AUs! (The two kind of go hand in hand, don't they?) I'd be pretty much into any AU, barring the few in my DNWs. I prefer sci-fi to fantasy but a modern world is perfectly fine too. I enjoy crime and mystery, so casefic is one of my favorite genres, along with romance.
I like obscure details and pretty words; and enjoy reading about feelings and thoughts and if there's any distress to them—that's welcomed with a warm embrace. Hurt/comfort is good and so is just hurt or just comfort. I don't mind violence but require it to have a sensible reason.
I adore competent characters, loyalty and power couples.
I'm also okay with crossovers with other characters if they're played by Bai Yu. It's not necessary to go for that, of course; but if you're so inclined, I won't mind.
General DNWs: heterosexuality for any of the requested characters; homophobia; religion; humiliation; degradation; scat; watersports; snuff; bloodplay; bestiality; emetophilia; mpreg; a/b/o; MCD; dub/non-con; sadism/masochism (but D/s and bondage are fine!); permanent bodily harm (e.g. dismemberment; branding/scarring; etc.); wizards AU; medieval AU; any mention of COVID-19; mentions of any gender-identity issues; alcohol and drug abuse portrayed as a nonissue; any mentions of dogs; readerinsert fic;

第十个夏夜 | The Summer Night (2019)
Protagonist
What is it? The Summer Night refers to these two short fashion films starring actor Zhu Yilong, which he filmed for a L’Officiel photoshoot.
Likes and thoughts: I'm very into the aesthetics of the films. What is this place? Why's all that stuff there? Who's the man? What is he looking for? Perhaps he's looking for someone; who?
The song choice in the first one is interesting. What other music might this character like? Does he dance?
DNWs: western name for the protagonist;

新倩女幽魂 | A Chinese Ghost Story (Video Game Commercial)
Gongzi Jing
What is it? This commercial, starring Zhu Yilong. It's for an MMORPG, which I haven't played and so don't really know anything about. Oops.
Likes and thoughts: I like Gongzi Jing a lot! I'd like to get to know him—who is he, what does he like, what does he do for fun, what scares him, what consoles him? Is there anyone he likes? Can he fight? Would he ever fight and if so, in what circumstances?
Once again, the locations are piquing my interest. The world he lives in is fascinating! (I have a soft spot for those cute little characters he almost bumps into.) Perhaps he can go explore a certain part of it?
I'm not very interested in the depicted player character but you can add her if you want. You could swap her with anyone else if you want too.
(I'm just interested in the commercial, so there's no need to look up the game.)
DNWs: Gongzi Jing/female player (but gongzi jing/male player is okay!); details about game mechanics (it's okay to mention levels/quests + rewards but please avoid going into detail about "how the game works");

Thermos "Flower Series" Commercials
Any: Prince; Wanderer; Tomb Explorer;
What is it? These three commercials, linked by the last one, all starring Zhu Yilong.
Likes and thoughts: Here, I especially love the visuals. All these places are intriguing and I want to see what else goes on there. The characters themselves are intriguing too. Where do they come from? What will they do, once their quests are complete? (You can approach the three characters as different people or as one if you prefer.)
Why is the Prince so happy? Does the cottage only have that one door? Does it have a backyard, unconnected to the snowy mountain? Does anyone live in it? Will the Tomb Explorer end up at the same cottage?
DNWs: western name for any of the requested characters;

L'Oréal "Time Engraver" Commercials
The Time Engraver (L'Oréal)
What is it? L'Oréal's "Time Engraver" is a character in two commercials. (One and two.)
Likes and thoughts: The way I "read" the two films, the Time Engraver seems to be the same man but at different stages of his "career". Based on his reactions and outlook, I consider that the second one takes place before the first. In general, I feel the second commercial much closer to my heart. If I overlook the anti-wrinkle product, it's quite easy to read the girl in the second as someone suffering from depression. So, I wonder, how does the Time Engraver feel about the people he ages? How does he feel when they die? Does he have free time? Is there anyone he likes? Is there anyone he doesn't want to age? Can he himself grow old? Where did he come from? Does he have family? What if someone wakes up while they're being aged?
DNWs: "signs of aging are bad, here's how to fix them"; western name for the Time Engraver;

镇魂 | Guardian (TV 2018) RPF
Zhu Yilong; Bai Yu
What is it? Guardian RPF involves the actors from the Guardian drama, specifically Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu.
Likes and thoughts: I am equally into Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu! Though, I do have a specific love for Bai Yu's beard. I do ship them but if you want to focus on just one of them, that's perfectly okay.
In an interview Bai Yu said he needs at least three kisses every day. Recently, some new Guardian behind-the-scenes footage was released and it featured Zhu Yilong blowing air kisses at Bai Yu (in character as Ye Zun and Zhao Yunlan respectively). I'd like to read about Zhu Yilong blowing kisses in daily life. (I feel like it's somehow significant that the Japanese spelling of his last name is "Chu" in katakana, like the sound a kiss makes.)
They both wear glasses in real life. One thing I'm into (and don't think I've seen anyone else mention) is the action of one removing one's own glasses as a sign of consent.
DNWs: any mentions of Bai Yu's girlfriend (please pretend she doesn't exist for the purpose of this exchange); Zhu Yilong with a crew-cut; their dogs;
