General likes: I love world-building and AUs. I also love intimacy and mutual care, so if the two members of the ship are good to each other, I'll be very happy too.
Romance is probably my favorite genre of fic. That said, you can mix it with pretty much any other genre and have a winning combination.
I adore competent characters, loyalty and power couples.
I've listed some ideas here, I hope they're helpful. Some of those ideas are formatted as questions but you don't need to answer all (or any) of them.

Characters: Gongzi Jing
Details: I have two ships for Gongzi Jing: Gongzi Jing/Bai Yu and Gongzi Jing/Bai Qi. If fictional character/real person isn't your thing, know that I'd enjoy the second ship just as much. ^^ I'm very into Bai Qi's look from the olden times (the armor looks so good on him).
I'd like to get to know who Gongzi Jing is—what does he like, what does he do for fun, what scares him, what consoles him?
The world he lives in is fascinating too! (I have a soft spot for those cute little characters he almost bumps into.) Perhaps he can go explore a certain part of it? And meet Bai Yu or Bai Qi while doing that?
Regarding the "fic that deals with gaming in any way" DNW: it's fine if "the characters are in a game, technically," just don't let them be aware of that. Please don't break the fourth wall to explain any kind of game mechanics (such as, but not limited to, quests, experience gain, health points, attack points, spell casting, etc.).
For smut: I'd prefer Gongzi Jing to be the top/dom. I see him as caring and gentle.

Details: I ship Luo Fei with Luo Fusheng, and Shen Wei. Any exploration of his dynamic with either of them would make me happy.
Luo Fei chasing criminal Luo Fusheng and falling for him would be delicious. Alternatively, Luo Fusheng as Luo Fei's informant?
Specifically for Shen Wei/Luo Fei: Luo Fei could be Kunlun (replacing Zhao Yunlan as the time traveler OR be a reincarnation) but he doesn't have to be. If Luo Fei is just a guy who looks exactly like Shen Wei's lost love...well, that's a good way to make Shen Wei sad.

Characters: Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan
Details: I ship weilan hard and can read about them doing just about anything. I just want them to be happy and in love. <3
While I love Shen Wei whump, I also love Zhao Yunlan whump a lot as well! I think there isn't enough Zhao Yunlan focused hurt/comfort out there and he has such potential for brilliant angst. Hurt him (and then fix him, please) for me?
I'm into identity porn, mutual trust (especially if there isn't a reason for it or if there's reason for mistrust, i.e. basically weilan from the first few episodes), and non-sexual intimacy.
A specific setting I love and think about a lot is: late night in a city (location could be anywhere: the university, a park, Zhao Yunlan or Shen Wei's apartment, etc.), where things are quiet, maybe a bit creepy, and the characters only have each other for company.
I also like Ye Zun very much! If you want to add him to your creation, that would be welcome. (No pressure, though. ^^) Just, please, don't make him a villain.
For art: I have a soft spot for blushing weilans. And drama Kunlun!ZYL's design is pure perfection.
DNW: smut (fade to black is okay!); Any of the SID characters in a major role (including Da Qing); depowered/nerfed Shen Wei; shy or confidence-lacking Shen Wei.
