Ever since I wrote something embarrassingly unkinky for the kinkmeme my thoughts have been stuck on Ye Zun. I really like him. He's a great villain. I wish he'd gotten more screen time. I wish Merit Brush Guy had been written better and his arc–over faster, so there would be more time for Ye Zun. I really love him. He's so interesting.

I need to sort through my thoughts on him before I can continue my life writing. Fuck, I've been trying to write this post for a week.

Day 23 of 30 Days of Guardian: Favorite soft moment

More like one of many favorite soft moments because there are so many of those and I love them all very much. That said, I really, really love the taxi scene in episode 8. Desperately worried but still pining and barely-able-to-restrain-himself Shen Wei is a particularly delicious kind of Shen Wei. If Zhao Yunlan wasn't so out of it in this scene, he'd probably agree.

I think it's really cool how tender this scene is in comparison to the next one where Shen Wei is ready to beat Zhao Yunlan up for being bad at taking care of himself. 

Also, ZhuBai improvised this!? Bai Yu tried a thing and Zhu Yilong's reaction was 100000% on point! AAAaaAAaAA!!!!! Absolute legends the both of 'em!

I'm going to start this meme off with the one answer I'm completely sure of–my favourite is episode seven. There's plenty of scenes in other episodes that I love to bits but here is where the magic happened for me.
